Step-by-Step Procedure

Power off and remove the back cover
Fully power off the device. Heat the perimeter of the back cover to 70°C for 2-3 minutes. Insert a pry tool from the SIM slot and slide it all around. Lift carefully: the back cover carries the NFC antenna.

Disconnect the battery connector
Remove the upper cover plate (Phillips #00 screws) and disconnect the battery connector FIRST.

Disconnect the antenna coaxial connectors and the display flex cable. If the replacement part is a module with frame, you'll need to transfer the motherboard and battery into the new frame: remove the screws and lift out the components.

The battery is glued in place: heat it slightly and lift it with a plastic pry tool (never metal) or by pulling any adhesive tabs. Do not bend it.
